What We Do

Hosting, Maintenance and Support

Hosting, maintenance, and support for the systems we build, with self-hosting always available and every option priced in advance.

Where this work starts

Custom software is only buyable if the agency knows what happens the day after handover. Most of the risk in a build is not the build itself: it is the third year, when the people who wrote it have moved on and the system still has to run.

Hosting arrangements often create a new dependency: leaving becomes expensive, and the exit is priced only when the agency tries to use it.

Written for
  • IT and security
  • The executive sponsor

What we do about it

Transition
the system to your team, with the documentation and the sessions to make it stick
Support
your team on an agreement, while they run it
Operate
it for you, by default inside your own cloud tenancy
Maintain
dependencies, security patches, and accessibility as the standards move
Hand back
on request, at a price published in advance

We recommend, draft, build, and operate. Your agency decides, adopts, and approves.

How the engagement runs

Each phase names what we need from your team and ends at a decision that belongs to your agency. Stopping at a gate is a normal outcome, and the work done up to it is still yours.

  1. Transition in

    Weeks 1 to 2
    From your team
IT takes delivery of the runbook
    Decision gate
    Your team demonstrates a deploy
  2. Operate

    Ongoing
    From your team
    One named contact
    Decision gate
    Reporting on the agreed cadence
  3. Transition out

    Whenever you choose
    From your team
    Receiving team
    Decision gate
Handover complete, access revoked, data returned

What you get

  • Runbook, architecture documentation, and infrastructure as code
  • Named support contacts and response commitments
  • Patch and dependency reporting
  • Backup, restore, and continuity procedures, tested
  • Transition plan, priced before you need it

What your agency owns at the end

Self-hosting is always available, and moving between the options has no exit fee. The default for managed hosting is your cloud tenancy, so the environment is yours even while we run it.

Deliverables are handed over in editable source. There is no license to renew, no exit fee, and nothing that stops working if the engagement ends.

What it costs

This line is bought through the engagements below. Each one publishes a committed starting price, and its page lists what moves the price above that starting point.

  • Hosting, Maintenance and Support
